Friday night the whole L$ went to a house party in East Highland. I’ve lowkey never been there and it’s only 20 minutes away. It’s crazy how nice the community is, Range Rovers on 4s, Escalades on 6s. I already knew the rollers were going to shut it down as soon it jumped off.
My dumbass assumption was right, the rollers were there as soon as we walked up to the house. One thing about those communities though, when the house says it’s no problem the cops shake out so we did what we only know best and sipped up all the free drank lol.
Still hung over from that night I wakeup @ my girls house and take her to her orientation program thing in LA for school. After that Reem and I headed over to The Standard Hotel rooftop where Wale was scheduled to do a set.
Being that Wale is my inspiration to start rapping and like 75% of my songs are by his producer duo “The Best Kept Secret” out of DC I had to make sure to be there hung over and all.
My dude B that handles all my PR was up there chopping it up with Wale’s camp and soon as I walk up I get greeted by prolly the most influential dude in my early career. Crazy feeling but dude is mad cool and we just chopped it up a lil and snapped that pic above.
After his set, Reem and I head over to his DJs room in the hotel to play some tracks off my new mixtape for him. He saved them to his MacBook and the rest will be history.
I’m just glad i finally got to meet that nigga man.
While chillin on the rooftop Reem was approached by Oh Dang! magazine for a photoshoot for their new section titled “BLASTED”. He took the crunkest pic with downtown LA sky scrapers in the background. As we were leaving the managing editor for the magazine Josh, super coo ass dude, came down to the whip to hear some of the tracks. The L$ is definitely making a trip to Frisco to linkup with them and get some thangs poppn.
Last but not least, I finally got the email i needed for Red Bull to get everything under way.
More info soon, Happy Fathers day especially to everyone I grew up with being fathers to their kids straight up.
